I am looking for a source for tuning capacitors.

I want one that has no stop and can rotate 360 degrees.

Somewhere around 100 pf or less would be fine and I really don't want to make one.

Are you looking for a cap to which you can connect a knob (6mm shaft) or a trimmer cap?

I have a load of trimmer caps, but I will also check my junk box over the weekend for a larger "knob-type".

 Thanks Harry

Yes, I don't think they make what I cam looking for.  I was looking for something like the old radios had but without a stop. 3 or 4 plates, fairly small, and  low capacitance would be fine.

Hi Jalex;

I seem to remember that type of capacitor being in some of the old military radios.
Have you any shops nearby that buy auctioned parcels of out-of-date military equipment and resell them?
You may need to do some disassembly, but there is some really hi-quality material in the old equipment.

All components, by their nature, contain smoke. Electrical Engineering is the art (or science) of joining them together without letting the smoke out.
