Hi Edd, the method of generating AC power is intended for generating low frequency (50 or 60 Hz), whilst terrestrial TV transmitters employ bands between 50 and 950 MHz (i.e. million Hz) and satellige ones even 12 GHz (i.e. billion Hz in U.S.). That requires different circuitry and techniques. Start with low-power radio FM transmitters V5, V6 and V7 on Harry's pages and expand to TV ones later. BR from Ivan

Hi I like to make one heavy dc Bazar inverter like 500 watt or 1000 watt therefore I like to know how many transistors and resistant I have to use or what kind of them and also if I can’t find this items in the town then what else can I use I mean like what else transistors and resistant, because I have check the stores I couldn’t find the 2N3055 high power transistors other 2,200 ohms by 1.5 watt resistant.

One more thing with this system I can’t run a fan because, it’s burning the fan, on the first few days the fan makes very strange noise and after its burns the fan.

Please inform me the solution of this problem as well please.

Best regards,

@SAmadi
I dont think you can run an inductive load with this system, but then I could be wrong.

Hi Harry, nice device! With all the transformers you have used, is the oscillator frequency always around 50, 60 Hz? I wonder if this is so because such power transformers were designed to have the lowest losses at this frequency so they force the system to oscillator right there.

Cheers,

Nill
